Presenters from EPA and Navajo Nation EPA will describe the CERCLA process used to assess and clean up over 500 abandoned uranium mines on the Navajo Nation and how Diné Fundamental Law and Traditional Ecological Knowledge are incorporated into the CERCLA processThe presenters will also provide an update on the progress, describe challenges encountered, and highlight how this work supports building capacity on the Navajo Nation.
